Boy Meets Girl

There are so many Autumn fashion trends that we absolutely love, and this one we’d like to share with you is called ‘boy meets girl’. The amazing check and tartan collections really caught our attention. Throughout the history of fashion, checks and tartans have always been popular and the power check pinafore that everyone will be wearing in Autumn 2018 is back.

We love pairing the Zara Check Pinafore Jumpsuit and Find Face Print T-shirt from Amazon. The projection of femininity whilst retaining a sexy self-confidence that we find beautiful. It reminds us why we love fashion, power dressing, femininity, sexy whilst maintaining personality! You’ll never guess the best bit. It’s only costs £18, quality material and the perfect cut for awe aspiring value.

This look is so on trend you can wear it absolutely anywhere! Brunch time get together with friends, everyday office wear or impress to dress at a special event.

African Sisters in Morocco Part II

Hello!

If you haven’t seen our blog on Morocco, you can click the link The Blue Pearl of Africa and African Sisters in Morocco

Selman Marrakech

We had a chillin’ pass which cost 60 pounds (A la carte lunch and Pool) booked at the 5 stars Selman Hotel, 15 minutes away from the city by taxi. We were blown away by the stunning architecture, the interiors and mosaics. We were warmly greeted and walked into the hotel, it was magical, unique, an Arabian dream of desert luxury.

We had the best lunch with an amazing view over an 80 metre long pool, the weather was beautiful enhanced by lush green grass and the most amazing blue skies. We wanted to relax and to treat ourselves to something special away from craziness of the city and we did, it was the best feeling of the day!

Marjorelle Garden is definitely a must-see for anyone who appreciates fashion, art and nature. We absolutely love bold colours! We would advise you to visit in the early morning or evening to avoid crowds.

The garden was designed by French artist Jacques Majorelle, who bought the property in 1930’s and then spent 41 years turning it into a luxurious oasis. Years later, Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé discovered the gardens and purchased the property. They lived there, drawing inspiration from the garden retreat and adding new species of flowers and plants. When YSL passed away in 2008, his ashes were scattered at the Jardin Majorelle and a memorial was built there in his name.

That’s a wrap for Morocco, we will be back!

Swaggerific 70s

Flares, flares, and more flares! If you’re lucky you’ve still got an old pair of flared jeans in the back of your cupboard (we can wait while you go check). Because they’re officially back in the fashion game. In our eyes, they never left the fashion game but we’ve always loved a good pair of flares! The reason for our blog: we want to see this latest trend translated onto the high street. Whenever a certain item makes a comeback we never see that much of it in street styles.

Flares have always been popular through fashion history, bell bottoms in the 1970s were a big hit. While skinny jeans are a great staple, I think it’s time to spice your wardrobe up with some funky flares. Not only do they look super flattering on, but are amazingly comfortable and make you look taller, slimmer and who doesn’t like the appearance of longer legs?. We love wearing flares, it gives any outfit an extra edge, an effortless style. You can match them with a shirt or turtleneck, whatever your choice you’ll look amazing!

You could pair them with the beautiful t-shirts from Twinship. We are obsessed with these fabulous t-shirts from the Eritrean twin sister’s Feven and Helena. We love their style, ethos and creativity. They launched Eritrean clothing online, with the tagline

“MAYBE SHE’S BORN WITH IT. MAYBE SHE’S HABESHA”

You may have noticed that everyone is wearing faux fur and shearling coat’s right now. Leopard print and shearling is always in fashion
and they are by far the most useful item in our wardrobe. So stay warm and swagger like a 70’s star!

The best thing about this look is that you can express your personality through clothing, which we love to promote but not many trends allow us to do.
All you need to do is pull out any clothes you wouldn’t normally wear together and create your own style!
Have fun being you x

The Big Pop Pink

Breast Cancer Care asked us to join The Big Pink Campaign, to add something PINK to help to spread the word. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Promoting awareness of this is extremely important to all women and is something that’s close to all of our hearts.

Last year we both found lumps which turned out to be the cyst at the same time. It’s very important that we check our breasts regularly. Did you know men can get breast cancer too? 1% of breast cancer cases are male.

Pink is BACK, it’s a fashionable must-have right now and the trend has been spotted on the street everywhere. We are in LOVE with the pop pink blazer from ASOS, with the most beautiful lace bodysuit. It is an oversize blazer which can be worn as a dress or with jeans. Kim Kardashian wears it too, without the hold ups hosiery. Forget those bodycon dresses, it’s all about being a girl boss in a must-have blazer dress. It’s flattering and fits like a glove.

Why the BIG PINK campaign is very IMPORTANT..

Every year, 62,000 people in the UK are told they have breast cancer. The diagnosis not only changes their lives forever, but also the lives of their family and friends. Breast Cancer Care understands the emotions, challenges and decisions people face every day. They know that everyone’s experience is different. That’s why they are there to offer support and information and campaign for better care.

Breast Cancer Care are the only specialist UK-wide charity providing support to people with breast cancer. Their free services include support over the phone with a nurse or someone who’s been there, welcoming online forums, reliable information and local group support. They’ll help people to live life with breast cancer and beyond. From the moment someone notices something isn’t right, through their treatment and beyond, Breast Cancer Care will be there.

691,000 people in the UK are currently living with a breast cancer diagnosis. Right now, Breast Cancer Care can’t reach everyone when they need them. With support, they can be here for more people, with care, support and information.

By us and supporting Breast Cancer Care, you can be confident that you’ll be helping people through one of the most difficult challenges they will ever face.

Fundraising ideas include holding a pink party, asking your family, friends and work to wear pink for a day and making a donation.

Help us spread the word, support ladies and raise funds for the cause.

You can donate here, please click  THE BIG PINK

And click Breast Cancer Care for more information.

Happy Pink!

We Heart Malta

We spent one week on the beautiful island with our gorgeous family friends. We thought we’d like to share with you all.

Malta is a small island in the Mediterranean Sea, that sits just above Libya and below Sicily – the perfect stop-off into Europe. It’s impossible not to love this lovely island, there is a year-round sunshine, more beautiful beaches, a vibrant nightlife and a very rich culture.

Valletta is the most beautiful city and a capital of the island. It is one of UNESCO World Heritage sites which is 500 years old. The gem is rich to see and explore, with fascinating historical buildings around every corner.

We spent a few hours in Valletta, we wandered up and down the narrow streets admiring the buildings, especially the doorways and we fell in love with everything we saw. We wish we had more than just a few hours to explore more in Valletta and this is definitely not a goodbye, we will be back!

We’re wearing a very colourful and gorgeous print dress with the bell sleeves from Nanawax. You can wear in two ways, top and dress with fashionable trainers that go with everything in your wardrobe.

Hope you are enjoying these pictures.
