Flares, flares, and more flares! If you’re lucky you’ve still got an old pair of flared jeans in the back of your cupboard (we can wait while you go check). Because they’re officially back in the fashion game. In our eyes, they never left the fashion game but we’ve always loved a good pair of flares! The reason for our blog: we want to see this latest trend translated onto the high street. Whenever a certain item makes a comeback we never see that much of it in street styles.

Flares have always been popular through fashion history, bell bottoms in the 1970s were a big hit. While skinny jeans are a great staple, I think it’s time to spice your wardrobe up with some funky flares. Not only do they look super flattering on, but are amazingly comfortable and make you look taller, slimmer and who doesn’t like the appearance of longer legs?. We love wearing flares, it gives any outfit an extra edge, an effortless style. You can match them with a shirt or turtleneck, whatever your choice you’ll look amazing!

You could pair them with the beautiful t-shirts from Twinship. We are obsessed with these fabulous t-shirts from the Eritrean twin sister’s Feven and Helena. We love their style, ethos and creativity. They launched Eritrean clothing online, with the tagline

“MAYBE SHE’S BORN WITH IT. MAYBE SHE’S HABESHA”

You may have noticed that everyone is wearing faux fur and shearling coat’s right now. Leopard print and shearling is always in fashion
and they are by far the most useful item in our wardrobe. So stay warm and swagger like a 70’s star!

The best thing about this look is that you can express your personality through clothing, which we love to promote but not many trends allow us to do.
All you need to do is pull out any clothes you wouldn’t normally wear together and create your own style!
Have fun being you x

We spent one week on the beautiful island with our gorgeous family friends. We thought we’d like to share with you all.

Malta is a small island in the Mediterranean Sea, that sits just above Libya and below Sicily – the perfect stop-off into Europe. It’s impossible not to love this lovely island, there is a year-round sunshine, more beautiful beaches, a vibrant nightlife and a very rich culture.

Valletta is the most beautiful city and a capital of the island. It is one of UNESCO World Heritage sites which is 500 years old. The gem is rich to see and explore, with fascinating historical buildings around every corner.

We spent a few hours in Valletta, we wandered up and down the narrow streets admiring the buildings, especially the doorways and we fell in love with everything we saw. We wish we had more than just a few hours to explore more in Valletta and this is definitely not a goodbye, we will be back!

We’re wearing a very colourful and gorgeous print dress with the bell sleeves from Nanawax. You can wear in two ways, top and dress with fashionable trainers that go with everything in your wardrobe.

Hope you are enjoying these pictures.

It’s always a bit sad to say goodbye to summer, we’ll miss the BBQs, summer styles, festivals and nice weather, until next year.

We always look forward to the autumn because there are so many reasons to love autumn. The cosy evenings watching TV, warm foods, and new styles! We get excited to wear our new styles for autumn, it’s all about the boots, chunky knitwear, boho dresses and lots of layers.

Heroda wears a boho dress from Asos which is on sale now, grab it before it’s too late! Boho is a very popular style, especially in Autumn. There are many ways to pull off a boho look in the autumn time.

Hermon goes for 70’s vibe with her flared dungaree with a colourful print top from Nanawax. Proving that a classic pair of denim dungarees can be so cute.

One of our favorite things about being women is empowering and supporting other women. We’re lucky to collaborate with this brand because we feel strongly to relate to the brand

“illicia is simply a reminder to us all that the choice is yours to make”

We love the styles Celina and Sofia, They are both beautiful bags, the timeless details that will work with so many of our outfits and our moods. Celina is more feminine for both a day to night look, it has an elegant round silhouette with a woven handle and detachable cross-body strap included.  Sofia is the perfect size for an everyday work bag, even a laptop would fit in. This is must a have bag

They created luxury handbags with interchangeable handles made handmade in Italy by master artisans, isn’t that amazing? We love interchangeable handles, there’s lots of colourful to choose to match your mood, which is a fantastic idea. With her quotes, she reminds us every day that we can be whatever we want to be, not to be afraid to adventure new experiences and never allow being deaf to limit our ambition. Disability doesn’t mean inability.

Her Brand

“Ilham started illicia in 2015 with a belief that women can distinguish themselves not only through the way they dress but also through the most important accessory every woman carries – handbags. The mode of self-expression, as well as her own vision to be the writer of her own narrative,  is what inspired her to start illicia.

illicia’s design philosophy is practical with a touch of personal choice, with emphasis on quality and craftsmanship. Our fine leathers are sourced from high-end tanneries in Italy and are made in Italy”

You have to have the courage to believe in yourself. If you truly want to follow your dream and make it come true. Go for it because you only live once.

Hello!

It’s weird being back in London after we traveled so much, London is a fast-paced city obviously and we’ve been trying to adjust back into our reality. We can’t believe that summer is almost over but that doesn’t mean we can’t travel and of course, you can wear a pop of colours.

We got the dresses from Boohoo and Whistles, which are both sold out, unfortunately. Boho is chic and effortless. Many may think that the tighter the better, however, boho looks embrace wearing the more comfortable free-flowing outfit yet still looking beautiful. The best thing about this look is that you can express your personality through clothing which is something not many trends allow us to do.

Hermon absolutely loved her sandals, made by Tia Handmade. It’s the perfect souvenir from Mykonos if you want something unique that you can enjoy for a long time. I highly recommend finding this gem of a shop.

#DWMoments

We have always dreamed of going to the beautiful Provence but we found a place in Banstead near London around 30 mins away,  isn’t that great? It was our first time visiting Mayfield Lavender Fields and we were amazed to see the beautiful place.  It’s a perfect getaway for yourself. At this time, the weather wasn’t that great but we don’t ever let the rain stop us.

We had the opportunity to wear watches by Daniel Wellington, we chose the stylish Classic Petite Melrose in gold (32mm) and Classic Black Cornwall (36mm) with interchangeable strap, what a bonus. It definitely adds to the feeling of quality when you have a watch this thin, we don’t wear watch often but this one fits us so well and didn’t add much weight which we loved tremendously!

We wore maxi dresses from miss guided, we were impressed with the material, style and the price too. At £35 with good quality.

There was magic in the air. We ran our fingertips along the rows of lavender, stoop down to smell the plants and twirled in the fields. Happiness is the joy of having a sister.

We’re honoured to part of #DWMoments Daniel Wellington Collaboration.
